 Corlay Cottages comprises a 19th century longere / cottage / holiday gite with a detached Annex situated near Lake Guerledan in the
Cotes d'Armor region of Brittany, France. It is the ideal location for your Brittany holiday. The cottages are available for short term
self catering holiday rentals / vacation rentals as well as longer term lets. The holiday cottages consist of a 3 bedrooms main house
and a detached 1 bedroom Annex, and sits in almost 2 acres of garden with a heated swimming pool. The garden consists of lawned areas,
a raised decking area, a wooded area, a BBQ area. It has English TV, English radio, sports equipment including bikes, DVD player and
video. The cottage is ideal for up to two families offering spacious living accommodation for up to 6 people with a large private
garden and swimming pool away from any main roads making it ideal for a family holiday. The Annex is a self contained, 1 bedroom
bungalow set in a courtyard with a private BBQ area and decking area. The Cottages may be rented individually or both together,
providing larger families with flexible accommodation.
Corlay Cottages are located in a small hamlet 3km from the Central Brittany town of Corlay and within a 10 mins drive from the
popular Lake Guerledan with beaches, creperies, cafes and many waterside activities. It is ideally placed in the Cote D’Armor region
of Brittany, central to both the North and South Brittany coastlines and within 75 mins of the popular the seaside resort of St
Malo on the northern coast of Brittany, France. Travel to France is easy; furthermore Brittany is probably the easiest holiday
destination to reach outside of the UK with a host of Ferry and flight alternatives to choose from. Ferries arrive here from
Portsmouth so if you decide to travel via this route it is a short easy drive to the house. Alternatively Roscoff, Le Harve,
Caen and Dieppe are all within an easy drive giving you a choice of ferry routes.
Alternativley you can fly to Dinard via RyanAir and have a 70 minute drive to the house. FlyBe Airline also fly to Brest (from
Birmingham and Southampton) and Rennes (from Southampton) and take 80 and 90 mins to reach from Corlay respectively. See our

The location of the holiday cottage makes it an ideal Brittany holiday destination, giving easy access to Lake Guerledan, Pontivy,
Mur-de-Bretagne, Loudeac, Dinan, Mont St Michel, Dinard, Josselin, St Cast and St Brieuc, all very popular tourist attractions in
Brittany. Rennes (TGV to Paris and Euro Disney) is 80 minutes away, with its beautiful city of timber framed buildings and large
shopping centres.
 The cottages are only 50 mins away from Brittany's famous Emerald coast, with its glorious beaches and tiny coves, rich green
farmlands, quaint little villages towns and mighty castles. There are dozens of uncrowded beautiful spacious beaches on the Northern
Brittany coast.
The south coast of Brittany is only about 90 mins drive away where you will find popular seaside resorts include La Trinite Sur Mer and Carnac. The
famous Gulf Of Morbihan is well worth a visit.
For full days out visit the Channel Islands. Numerous ferries leave St Malo every day to Jersey, Guernsey and Alderney.
About 3 hours drive away are the famous D-Day beaches (Plages Du Debarquement), Gold, Sword, Juno and Omaha and war memorials of Normandy. At Arromanches
the old Mulberry harbours are still visible in the sea and on the beaches. Travelling South the larger
city of Nantes is well worth a day trip, and can be reached in approximately 2 hours.

If you require a longer term let whilst house hunting or looking for property in Brittany then the house is in an ideal location to
access most areas. Alternatively if you have bought a property in France and are waiting to move in then we are happy to offer longer
term rentals outside the main holiday periods at reduced rates.
